Mod 3 - Mooring & waste Changes

We wish to express our concern regarding a number of issues as follows regarding de- fouling and anti fouling activities proposed for this site.
1. Noise associated with both activities and wind borne pollution
While the documentation makes certain assumptions regarding these matters , there is no apparent mechanism for measuring either noise or air borne pollution. Recent activity using air compressors for cleaning machinery on this site was used recently and the noise created was likely to be well above acceptable standards for No1 Grafton Street. Should this method be central to both de- fouling and anti- fouling activities under this application , this would be unacceptable to residents in the local vicinity. We would respectfully request that consideration be given and if approved incorporated into any approval for monitoring equipment to be installed for both noise and pollution associated with these activities. This would seem a practical solution going forward.
We assume that the treatment of any contaminants in water run off is subject to strict environmental guidelines and regular testing and this would also be enshrined in any approvals granted under this application .
