As a Sydney FC fan, I'm deeply worried about changing the concert rules at Allianz Stadium from 6 to 20. Here's why:

We play many games at Allianz Stadium, around 14 each season. It's essential to respect our presence there, as we are a significant tenant.

We have a dedicated fan base, with an average attendance of 19,000 supporters. We want our fans to have a great experience, and changing concert rules may affect our games and the pitch quality.

Changing the concert cap could hurt our club financially and impact our ability to compete at a high level. This would not be good for our loyal fans.

The condition of the pitch is crucial for player safety and performance. After concerts, the field may not be in optimal condition.

We are actively involved in the community, promoting football and health awareness. A reduction in revenue due to changes in concert rules could hinder our community initiatives.

In conclusion, I urge the government to reconsider increasing the concert cap at Allianz Stadium. Sydney FC is a vital part of our city's identity and a source of pride for its supporters. Please maintain the current concert cap of 6 to preserve the stadium's sporting heritage.

This is not the basis on which planning permission was granted for the stadium upgrade. I consider it dishonest to propose lifting the concert cap at this late stage. This is a densely populated residential area that already experiences sporting and entertainment events many days of the year. Please have some consideration for the peace and mental health of local residents. Why not stage concerts instead at Olympic Park, which has much better transport connections and is not a residential area?

I wish to add that Homebush stadium is under utilized, more concerts can be held there, as it will have less impact on the environment and there are less residents in a close vicinity.

I live in the major impacted area of Cook Rd and reject several statements made in this one sided submission. To say that residents that live in this should expect to have a lot of noise, is not true. Living in centennial park is very quite, with the park on one side and empty sporting stadiums, the area in exceptional quite and very peaceful. Yes we expect the Rugby, AFL and Cricket to be played at the sporting stadiums, but we do not accept that the stadiums should become free for all, and turned into continuous concert venues. Last year there were concerts that started at 2pm and finished 10pm, that was 8 hrs of continuous load music. It was unbearable and is unacceptable to expect residents to have to endure more concerts. We purchased our properties knowing AFL, Rugby, Cricket and 4 concerts would be in the area. To move the goal post so significantly is unacceptable. If this passes I will expect the approving body to pay for the installation of double glassing and air conditioning in my unit, as i will no longer be able enjoy the outdoors by having my windows and doors open. This proposal have no respect or consideration for residents living in the area.

I have lived here for more than 40 years. We approved the stadium on the grounds that there would be limited concerts. When a concert and its rehearsals are on, we are subject to noise, to rowdy crowds in the street and our house is difficult to access. We can live with this on the current limited number of concerts but please do not increase the number or the duration of concerts and rehearsals. To do so makes a mockery of previous planning approvals

I against the changes to the number of concerts , ending time, length of concert and the proposed Mardi Gras proposal
The noise from concerts is disruptive to my quiet leisure recovery time that I need with my demanding job in mental health,
it has a personally high cost.
The number of concerts means one just over every 2 weeks ie I would be disturbed probably one evening every 2 weeks just for some people to have fun ! The attendees wouldn't like it if I came round to their home and disturbed them every 2 weeks . Also it means there is no way to escape it.
Mardi Gras - the current dance party goes over night - so moving it to the stadium would mean highly disrupted sleep for one night which would. then affect my ability to work the following week
A separate issue is the noise from Pyrotechnics - they are particularly disruptive to sleep and need to be banned after after say 9pm (rather like the pyrotechnics from opera on the harbour are about 8.45pm) so that sleep is not disrupted as some people get up at 6am for exercise etc
The State Government has made a lot of comments about if you live near the city you should just accept it. For a city to work people need to have protections from undue noise which is why we have the environmental protection act which represents the current view about how much noise is acceptable.
This is an entertainment proposal, it is not an essential services proposal there is no reason for people to be subject to noise that does not fall within this.
Also people living in the area already experience a high level of noise from a variety of sources including planes starting at 6am , noisy revellers walking along streets all night, traffic, harbour fireworks, neighbour noise from medium density living. We should not have to experience more.
Prior to moving here 20 years ago I tried out the area by renting first , at this time concerts were limited tot he current 4 per year .
I now have deeply established roots to the area and now cannot easily move .
It is not appropriate to suddenly make such a major change to living conditions when there is no pressing social concern.
And just because there is a venue that could be used for concerts it doesn't mean it should. Its why we have zoning laws to protect residential areas.

I am writing as a passionate Sydney FC fan to express my deep concerns and opposition to the proposed change in concert caps at Allianz Stadium, which would increase the limit from 6 to 20. I implore the government to carefully consider the following points before making any decisions:
First and foremost, I request that you acknowledge and respect Sydney FC's status as a paying tenant of Allianz Stadium. The club plays a substantial number of home games at the stadium, with at least 14 fixtures held there each season. It is crucial to recognize that the construction of Allianz Stadium was driven, in part, by the fundamental role that sports, including football, play in our community. Sydney FC, as the major tenant and the sole summer tenant, should not be subjected to eviction or fixture clashes due to concerts. Such a scenario is simply unacceptable.
Sydney FC boasts an impressive average attendance of 19,000 loyal supporters, with thousands more following the club from various locations. The government must take these ardent fans into account when making decisions related to concerts. This includes careful consideration of fixture rescheduling and the maintenance of pitch quality, both of which directly impact the overall experience for us supporters.
Changing the concert cap without due consideration for Sydney FC could jeopardize the club's financial stability and revenue streams. This, in turn, could lead to detrimental consequences for the club's competitiveness and, ultimately, diminish the enjoyment of us fans.
Furthermore, I express my legitimate concerns regarding the condition of the pitch and the overall quality of the sporting product after concerts are held. The maintenance of a high-quality pitch is essential for player safety and performance, as well as for the satisfaction of us dedicated fans.
Lastly, it is imperative to recognize Sydney FC's active involvement in the community, where we serve as ambassadors for football and health awareness. Any reduction in the club's revenue, as a result of changes to the concert cap, could have adverse effects on our community engagement initiatives.
In conclusion, I earnestly request that the government reconsider the proposal to increase the concert cap at Allianz Stadium. Sydney FC is more than just a football club; it is a symbol of our city's spirit and a source of immense pride for its supporters. I beseech you to protect the interests of our club and its devoted fans by maintaining the existing concert cap of 6 and preserving the rich sporting heritage of Allianz Stadium.

I write to you as a dedicated Sydney FC fan, and I would like to voice my concerns regarding the proposed increase in concert caps at Allianz Stadium from 6 to 20. I respectfully urge the government to take into account the following points before making any decision on this matter:

First and foremost, it is crucial to recognize Sydney FC's status as a paying tenant of Allianz Stadium. The club holds a significant presence, playing a minimum of 14 home games at the stadium each season. The very reason for the construction of Allianz Stadium includes its role as a sporting venue, and it is unacceptable that the major tenant, and the sole summer tenant, would face eviction or fixture clashes due to concerts.

Sydney FC boasts an average attendance of 19,000 passionate fans, with countless others supporting the club from various regions. It is imperative that these loyal supporters are considered when contemplating changes to the concert cap. This involves careful deliberation on potential fixture rescheduling and the maintenance of pitch quality, both of which directly affect the overall fan experience.

Any alteration to the concert cap without due consideration for Sydney FC could put the club's financial stability and revenue streams at risk. Such consequences could have a ripple effect, potentially compromising the club's competitiveness and diminishing the enjoyment of us fans.

Furthermore, I express my sincere concerns about the condition of the pitch and the overall quality of the sporting product after concerts take place. Maintaining a top-notch pitch is not only vital for player safety and performance but also for the satisfaction of us devoted supporters.

Lastly, it is essential to acknowledge Sydney FC's active engagement in the community, where we play a pivotal role in promoting football and health awareness. Any reduction in the club's revenue due to changes in the concert cap could negatively impact our community outreach initiatives.

In conclusion, I respectfully implore the government to reconsider the proposal to increase the concert cap at Allianz Stadium. Sydney FC represents more than just a football club; it symbolizes the heart of our city and brings immense pride to its supporters. I urge you to safeguard the interests of our club and its dedicated fans by preserving the existing concert cap of 6 and upholding the cherished sporting legacy of Allianz Stadium.
