Please read my submission attached.
I have asked questions, especially about the Robertson School and materials being discharged from trains and would like detailed and comprehensive answers to all of them.
Thanks

I need to pass cross this railway line to go to work, to go shopping, to see my doctor. These extra trains will not only increase my commute time by having to wait for them to pass in my car, I am extremely concerned about the delays that will be caused to the already poor running Southern Highlands line.

I am extremely worried about emergency services being delayed as they wait for coal carriages to pass. How long will be before the first local person dies because of these train delays?

These trains will run during the day and night. The noise will be heard from inside my house. My families sleep will be disturbed by the noise of this rail line. We will be tormented by the noise during the day. This will ruin our lifestyle. This is NOT low impact.

These coal filled train carriages running though the Southern Highlands will cause air pollution, noise pollution and disruption to local landowners and small towns. Berrima and Medway are unique, beautiful and irreplaceable. I am very concerned that this rail project will cause damage to the beauty, history and liveability of these towns.

In addition I object to this proposal because of it's association with the Hume Coal Project, and I have attached my objections to this as part of my submission.

I implore the decision maker to reject this proposal and stand up for the local community instead of supporting the interests of Hume Coal/POSCO.
