Modification 13 Dunmore Quarry Pit Extension

In July 2021 Boral were discharging waste water from this facility. A full explanation of events is attached in my letter to my local State Member Gareth Ward for the then Minister for Environment, Matthew Kean. The Ministers response is also attached.
This matter, demonstrated two things.
1. Boral is prepared to misrepresent the facts in their dealings with the EPA.
2. The EPA does not seem to be willing/capable of policing their own regulations. Instead they deal in semantics about a tributary not the Rocklow Creek; when the tributary clearly joins Rocklow Creek and hence Minnamurra River.

I will point out that the actual site of the proposed expansion is not the problem. The problem is the treatment of wastewater that flows a short distance to Rocklow Creek then to the Minnamurra River estuary. This popular recreation place can have 2,000 people using it on a busy summers day.
