I wish to object to the above application

As the other Lend Lease buildings at Barangaroo have had significant modifications approved I think that enough is enough.

According to a document on the internet

Building 3, which is R5 is going to be 104m high
Have 151 apartments
Have 171 car spaces
Gross area (19,158m2 residential and 909m2 retail)

I don’t think that the footprint needs to be bigger .

Lend Lease says that it would like an additional 2,260 sqm of floor space, including Key Worker housing floor space.

It seems to me that LL is using the current ‘favour of the month’ housing for Key workers as a way of getting around additional floor space.

Like with R4 last year, more modifications will be submitted and R5 will eventually end up with more stories.

I have been an owner of 1902 Stamford on Kent 183 Kent Street since 2005, and it has been used exclusively by my family ever since. It has never been tenanted.
We have been very badly affected by the whole project. We have lost all aspect from our apartment from directly in front and to our left.
When this building is completed we should be able to see a reasonable portion of Hickson Park which softens the building in our face and also the iconic casino building.
The extension although only adding 2.4 metres on Hickson Road will substantially affect our outlook. This is because the proposed extension is diagonally to the side of us and consequently our perspective is greatly reduced.
We will lose views of most if not all of Hickson Park and The Crown Building.
The affect is we lose considerably more than 2.4 metres of our remaining view.
Hence my objection.
