The Wilton Growth Area Development Control Plan (the DCP) provides detailed planning controls for urban development in the Wilton Growth Area. The DCP initially applies to the rezoned South East Wilton and North Wilton Precincts, which will be the first stages of development for the growing Wilton community.
The Wilton DCP was on exhibition for six weeks between 7 August and 18 September 2019, with 41 submissions received from the public and government agencies. A summary of the submissions and the department’s response is available in the What we heard report.
On 1 September 2023 the North Wilton Neighbourhood Plan No 1 and South East Wilton Neighbourhood Plan No 1 were adopted into the DCP.
