2013/5948 - West Byron Bay

Approximately 108 ha of land to the south of Ewingsdale Road and west of Belongil Creek is proposed to be rezoned for low and medium density residential, light industrial uses and a neighbourhood centre, as well as environmental zones.

A number of land owners have made an offer to enter into a voluntary planning agreement in relation to the rezoning proposal.

The proposed voluntary planning agreement would require the land owners to pay monetary contributions towards road upgrades, and make arrangements for the rehabilitation and ongoing management of the environmental conservation lands.
