The proposal is seeking to add 'shop top housing' as an additional permitted use on the site under Schedule 1 of the Willoughby Local Environmental Plan 2012. The proposal is also seeking to:- increase the maximum height limit from 12 metres to RL 235 (approximately 42 storeys);- removal of existing floor space ratio control of 2.5:1 for the site and allow for the building to be defined by a building envelope control; and- require a minimum of 2,066sqm of non-residential gross floor area on the site.
