The intended outcome of the proposal is to enable redevelopment of the site for a mix of land uses, including high density housing, retail, commercial and hotel premises.
The proposal seeks to achieve this by amending Warringah Local Environmental Plan 2011 as follows:
- amend Schedule 1 Additional Permitted Uses on the site to allow for 'hotel or motel accommodation', 'retail premises' and 'residential flat buildings' as permitted with consent; and
- amend the Height of Buildings Map (sheet HOB_008A) to introduce a maximum building height control of 70 metres for the site.
