Byron LEP 2014 - Amend and introduce planning provisions applicable to Byron Bay Town Centre

The planning proposal seeks to amend the Byron LEP 2014 by:
-introducing B3 Commercial Core zone to the land use tables
- rezone the B2 Local Centre area within Byron Bay to B3;
-amend Clause 6.7 and Schedule 2 to reference B3 zone;
- amend the Height of Building Maps to extend the 11.5m height restriction within the Byron Bay Town Centre;
- introduce a new Building Height Allowance map for flood prone areas;
- remove Floor Space Ratio provisions from the Town Centre; and
- introduce additional local provisions for mixed use in B3 zone, design excellence, street frontage and ancillary car parking
