Planning Proposal to rezone Cyprus Club 58-76 Stanmore Road, 2-20 Tupper Street and 1, 3-9 Alma Avenue, Stanmore

Planning proposal is seeking to amend the Marrickville LEP 2011 to:
o Rezone parts of the site to B4 Mixed Use and R1 General Residential;
o Amend the Floor Space Ratio (FSR) controls to range from 1:1 to 1.75:1;
o Amend the Height of Building (HOB) controls to range from 11m to 21m;
o Amend the Key Sites map to identify the Cyprus Club site;
o Introduce a site-specific clause for the proposed B4 mixed-use zone to permit a residential flat building only if it includes a minimum of 1500m2 floorspace for a Registered Club and Commercial premises;
o Introduce an additional local provision which requires preparation of a site-specific Development Control Plan to address detailed matters such as built form, landscaping, streetscape, amenity and
o Introduce an additional local provision which requires the consent authority to be satisfied that development does not result in a significant increase in the amount of vehicular traffic in the area
