Green Square and Southern Areas Retail Review

The planning proposal will amend Sydney LEP 2012 to remove the restriction on the size of retail tenancies from an 'expanded retail area,' immediately adjacent to the west and the north of the Green Square Town Centre. This will be supported by controls to manage layout and placement of the retail tenancies to support the activation of the public domain in the expanded retail area. The planning proposal also introduces a maximum parking rate for all large format retail in the local government area.
