Attached Dual Occupancies in Rural Zones and Clarification of Sewer Requirements (100 dwellings)

The planning proposal (the proposal) seeks to:1. Permit attached dual occupancies with consent in rural zones (i.e., RU1Primary Production, RU2 Rural Landscape and RU4 Primary ProductionSmall Lots); and2. Delete clause 7.1(3) of Wollondilly Local Environmental Plan (WLEP) 2011, so that attached dual occupancies, rural workers dwellings and secondary dwellings are permitted on land where reticulated sewerage is not available, if adequate on-site wastewater management and disposal can be provided.The following documents are attached:- Council's cover letter (Tag C).- the planning proposal (Tag D),- Council's resolution and report (Tag E), and- an assessment of the evaluation criteria for the delegation of plan-making functions (Tag F).While the proposal was received on 4 May 2015, discussions were held with Council staff on 21 and 26 May 2015, seeking clarification of various matters in the proposal, as discussed in this report.
