Amend Albury LEP 2010 to reclassify 14 Kambora Court to Operational Land

Reclassification of Lot 7 DP 264529, 14 Kambora Court, Lavington from Community Land to Operational Land (surplus land) to enable Council to sell the site. The site is a pocket park that has an area of 1,186 square metres and has no facilities, trees or landscaping. The site is currently zoned R3 Medium Density Development under Albury LEP 2010. The Mercy Centre at 12 Kambora Court, operated by the Sisters of Mercy, adjoins the site and the Centre is used for accommodation support for people with an intellectual disability. They have indicated to Council that they have an interest in obtaining the site to expand the Centre to accommodate an increase in staff. The Centre also owns 11 Kambora Court (vacant land) that adjoins the site to the south.Council resolution dated 27 September 2010
