The purpose of this Planning Proposal is to seek amendment to the Wollongong Local Environmental Plan 2009 based on the findings of the Wilga Street Block Urban Design
Study and recommendations of the draft Wilga Street Planning Strategy. It relates to the lots contained within the block bound by Wilga Street, Collins Street, the Princes Highway and Memorial Park. The Planning Proposal presents changes to land use, height, FSR, overshadowing, minimum subdivision lot size and design excellence controls.
