Reclassification of Community Land to Operational Land

There are 11 sites proposed to be reclassified. Seven of the sites have been requested to be purchased by adjoining landowners. Three sites are recommended to be reclassified and sold by Council’s Open Space and Recreation Strategy because they are considered surplus to public need. One of the sites is a part a public reserve that currently contains Council infrastructure. This site is not proposed to be sold but reclassification facilitates the existing operational use for infrastructure purposes.
