This is a letter of objection towards the Woodland BESS BATTERY installation .
My objection is based on the following points.

1. The battery/s have enormous unknown environmental impacts not only on the surrounding surface areas but also subsurface aqua ducts and ground water reservoirs.
a.) Should a fire develop , unknown chemicals can leech into soils .
b.) Plumes of smoke that will carry huge amounts of unknown toxic contaminants will ultimately end up in the Murrumbidgee river system after fallout of smoke particles and contaminants ascend back to earth . It is a fact that spot fires can be started over 30 kilometres away from a source fire when the conditions are favourable . It is not known how far air carried toxins will travel from a fire at a installation like this . These toxins can be in gases or semi gases form and be compounded by heat , oxygen and other contaminants induced by fire .
c.) Electrical fires pose huge threat to emergency workers lives and safety ( many volunteers and professional workers alike ) . Much controversy surrounds the use of chemicals used to assist modern fire fighters and is widely considered a hazard in itself. The heat generated in chemical fires is extreme and the radiant heat produced prevents fire crews from being able to be in a effective position to even start to contain a blaze .
d.) The effects of Electromagnetic forces (EMF) on the fauna, flora and living men and women surrounding such a facility is not known and cannot be estimated or predicted to be safe.

These a just a few concerns and there are many more not yet explored but it is a disaster waiting to happen .
Do not approve this plan .
