I wish to object to this application on the issue of odour to the area. The area is surrounded by Landfills be it Brandown at Cecil Park, Suez at Kemps Creek and Suez Green Waste recycling at Eastern Creek.
The Eastern Creek Green Waste facility constantly creates odour issues at Horsley Park where my business is located.
Suez's track record in odour issues is far from perfect, with Horsley Park constantly subjected to this issue.

This facility from what I can observe will be creating another odour issue for the area. I fail to see why Suez can not move the facility to Kemps Creek next to there landfill and a rural area.

I am not in support of this submission & find the thought of such increased levels of waste to the Wetherill Park waste Facility frightening. i already have complained to other family members of the smell that we often get wafting into our back yard now so can only imagine the impact this will have on us in the future. I do not want this to impact on the air quality we have in our area or the increased noise & traffic that would come with the increased levels of waste.
I feel that this would also have a negative result on our property values because of the air pollutants that will be noticeably smelt by all.
I never knew of the Eastern creek waste closing this year, its the first i've heard of it & i will try & confirm that this is what is happening & would look forward to Fairfield council purchasing or developing a new waste management facility with the latest hazardous control & modern technology that would be able to best serve the people of our area & not the whole of Sydney's waste.
i am sure that Fairfield Council has plenty of vacant farm land that they have purchased that would accommodate such a development & think of the employment this development would bring; just don' t put it in the vicinity of large populous
Please consider my personal submission.
