Our area has been struggling with traffic for many years now , but ever since a huge industrial site was developed at 54 - Ferndell street , South Granville the issue has become worse. Now another industrial site is about to be completed at 3 Ferndell street , South Granville which will add more stress to the already stretched infrastructure. If this proposed development at number 26 proceeds , things will only get worse.

Dear Elissa
We are the owners of 462 Blaxcell St., Granville property.
We wish to register with you our objection to the proposed development on the following grounds.
1. The residential area is mainly single level housing hence a 19.7 metre height development so close to it is not appropriate. It will simply stick out like sour thump.
2. So close to the residential area , 24/7 operation will be disturbing to the residents. Noise is travels further at night time and on weekends due to lower ambient noise at the time.
3. It seems that the previous buffer zone has substantially shrunk.
I trust my submission will be taken into consideration against the proposed development.
Kindest Regards
Ahmet and Safiye Nami

Second email:
Dear Elissa
It was my pleasure to have discussed the proposed development with you. And I would like to add following to my objection to the prosed development.
On closer inspection of the side elevation, it shows a very substantial retaining wall giving an air of a huge ‘castle atmosphere’ to the proposed development which is not consistent with the adjoining residential area. Currently the site has a favourable leafy outlook from our property.
It follows that such a huge development will have a serious impact on the value of the adjoining residential properties; particularly those properties that share a side boundary like ours. This is a very major impediment to the proposal. How are we going to be compensated?
Please add this to my objections list submission.
Kindest Regards
Ahmet and Safiye Nami
