I OBJECT TO THIS PROJECT AS IT IS IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO RESIDENTIAL AREAS. THIS WILL CAUSE HEALTH PROBLEMS FOR PEOPLE.
WE CAN ALWAYS SMELL THE GARBAGE TIP, AND ON OCCASIONS WE HAVE TO SEAL OUR HOUSE AS WE CAN SMELL THE ROTTING GARBAGE.
IN THE INTEREST OF HUMANS AND ALSO DOMESTIC PETS AND THEIR HEALTH IT WOULD BE BETTER TO RELOCATE OUTSIDE OF THE METROPOLITAN AREA.

We do not want an incinerator in our community period and we will fight to the bitter end.... please provide updated information, what you have supplied is years old
The smell is horrendous at times, if you can't manage it after years of trying..how the hell do u think you can manage an incinerator..no way..build it in your neighbourhood, not ours

This is just crazy!
Why would you even consider a waste facility at Eastern Creek?
Right smack bang in the middle of a very populated area and the surrounding areas are just as populated!
Our kids will suffer the long term effects of all toxins this site will produce!
It's a big fat NO from me!
I can't believe this was even able to be considered! Just a joke!!!

This is within close proximity of many residents. It's unfair and unsafe for this pollution to bet let in the air and effecting our air quality. This will aslo have a negative impact on the market in the area for already struggling home owners

I wish to lodge this objection on behalf of No Incinerator for Western Sydney (NIWS) for the reasons as set out in our submission to the Land and Environment Court during the conciliation conference phase of those appeal proceedings(see attachment). In addition to those reasons I make further submissions as a consequence of recent changes to the NSW Energy from Waste policy statement which were not possible for the proponent to respond to in the earlier refused applications. These changes include, more stringent emission levels and emission monitoring requirements, particularly for heavy metals. The proponent is representing its' responses to the SEARS issued in December 2013 and therefore not requiring the proponent to demonstrate how their amended application will satisfy the latest version of the EFW policy statement with its' revised limits on emissions and monitoring. One example of where this amended application and SEARS is deficient is that the EFW policy now requires that operators are required to complete a Proof of Performance (POP) test to demonstrate compliance with the POEO Clean Air regulation air emission standards. No such requirement is placed on this operator’s amended application. It is our view that these more stringent limits will not be complied with in this amended application and therefore due to the inherent potential health risks thereby arising the application should be refused. Further to these concerns is the manner in which the operator proposes to ensure that the waste feedstock will not exceed the one (1) percent halogenated organic substances content of all input waste by having the crane operator mix the waste upon receipt. There is no evidence to suggest that this is a viable method of ensuring that the waste will not exceed the one percent concentration of chlorine to ensure the incinerator is operated at the specified temperatures. Some EU operators are required to perform laboratory analysis of all input waste to satisfy this requirement. The EFW policy stipulates the requirement to operate at the elevated temperature of 1100 degrees centigrade with a residence time of two seconds for waste that exceeds one percent halogenated organic substances. The amended application fails to adequately address this issue.

I live in Blacktown. We smell the unpleasnat smell from the rubbish tip situated in Eastern Creek on average once a week. I have no doubts that when the thermal treat of waste facility is in operation the smell and also dangerous fumes will affect my area. As I understand it the people who are proposing this facility admitted that some poisonous fumes will be present in the air. No thank you. Build it in the middle of the dessert were the nuclear bombs were tested. And that is not far away enough.

We DO NOT WANT ANY AMENDMENTS to this application.

We DO NOT WANT ANY ICINERATORS built in Eatern Creek at all as Bingo have shown us that even though they have apparently ADDRESSED the issues the SMELL is always there,, it’s NOT HEALTHY. IT STINKS.

I bet you that the so called powers of BINGO do not live in the area,, why,, because it STINKS.

our household does not support the waste facility, we have a young family we don't want the smells, toxins and who knows what else near our home. there is vast amounts of land in other areas away from housing estates, we categorically do not support this project.
