A concern for increased traffic flow and noise.

Pemulwuy was sold as a family orientated residential estate. I strongly oppose the opening of Butu Wargun Drive to access Reconciliation Rd to all traffic. To do so would bring in substantial increase in traffic through the Estate. There are lots of families that live in the estate with young children. The amount of traffic and obstacles (such as buses that have no bays to pull into) that we already contend would be compounded with further traffic and would pose as a serious danger within a residential estate. we purchased our properties 8 years ago with the intent of Pemulwuy being a residential estate - how could you now change it? Stop the greed and leave Pemulwuy alone!

I strongly object to the proposed DEXUS Estate - Warehousing and Distribution Centre. This development will affect the lives of thousands of residents who call this and the surrounding suburbs their home. This development will lead to increase in pollution (noise and emission), vehicular traffic and other factors that are not favorable for a growing residential community.

The government and concerned departments should encourage redevelopment of those industrial estates which have been abandoned or in dilapidated state.

I would strongly disagree with the proposed works in Pemulwuy. It is an inappropriate site for such a development for a number ofrreasons.
1. The proximity to residential dwellings will drive large commercial vehicles in and out of the area increasing noise, pollution and extra pressure on the already congested roads.
2. During morning peak times, school hours and evening peak times the roads will not be able to handle to extra traffic.
3. Pemulwuy is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and the introduction of such a development makes no sense when it could be moved to a more suitable site down the great western highway with other warehousing plants.
4. There are no positive benefits to have this storage facility here, however you can clearly see the unnecessary impact on local residents, small business and traffic congestion it will cause.
Please reconsider this proposal and have the scope to move it to a more appropriate location.

i totally object to this as it will be noisy and increase traffic in our suburb. This estate work should not go ahead and should rather be made in an industrial area where there are Minimal or no residents.

I do no agree that the Quarry West Project should be allowed to operate on a 24 hour basis - we should have it stop between 11 pm an 6 am.

We moved to this area in an effort to no longer be impacted by a 24 hour truck distribution centre that was not meant to have any negative impact - that wasn't true.

You could hear forklifts reversing at all hours all and the traffic just kept getting worse especially in the early hours of the morning.

Traffic around the Quarry is already terrible and this will only make it worse.

As a local Pemulwuy resident, I, along with many other members of our community, have concerns regarding the potential noise impact of the proposed development during the construction period and once the site is in operation.

Industrial noise is on the increase in our community, particularly since the development of the eastern side of quarry. While I understand the noise predictions for this development are within acceptable levels, I feel the local residential community should be provided with contact information should we have concerns regarding the amount of noise being generated as a result of this development. In addition, how long into the future the noise level testing be carried out for?

While I do not object to this proposal, I would like to ensure there are no negative noise implications of this proposal on the local residential community and should a noise issue arise it can be effectively managed.
