Cowal Gold Operations is a cornerstone to employment and future growth in the Bland Shire. It has history as a safe, stable, and environmental conscience project. Their investment in community and local region through multiple project avenues and their continued support of the commmunity makes the entire project an asset to the region. It's ongoing viability is extremely important.

I live in Wyalong and the mine is a great asset to the local community which would surely almost cease to exist when the mine leaves, similar to other surrounding towns. Wyalong is a great town to live in and i hope the mine stays open as long as possible for people to enjoy this dot on a map as they drive through but most importantly for us in the town to enjoy it for as long as possible before it disappears. Eventually the mine will close and the town along with it, but hopefully not anytime soon.

This project will provide significant support to the local community by not only extending the life of the mine but also the total extent of the operations. This would also further the capacity of Evolution to contribute to the local community through donations, sponsorships etc.

I am very supportive of the Open Pit Continuation at Cowal Gold. The mine provides employment for hundreds of people directly and through contract positions, provides an incredible downstream income for West Wyalong and surrounding towns and is a responsible environmental citizen.
