We are writing this letter to find out more about the construction proposed at the corner of Redbank Road and Labyrinth Way. The Redbank Road on the construction side is a very small street however incredibly busy with cars using it to and from the Westmead hospital and Ronald Mcdonald house, cars using this street as short cut to Briens Street, cars and trucks entering and leaving Bunnings.
The road can’t be safely crossed by residents between 5pm - 6pm.
The residents at the Redbank Road do not support the proposed development which will bring more cars, more noise and more exhaust fumes.
We would like to know if there is an another street/road to use for the cars which will be using the multi-storey carpark?
For you information, we are sending a few photos of our street just before the traffic jam.

This Carpark is going to be on The Grounds of Westmead Childrens Hospital, The Lodge is Old Ronald MacDonald House and The George Greegan Kids Playground. I am a Rural Parent and this has not be made available to users of the hospital, the number of Disabled Parking Spots is poor and families need bathroom facilities for disabled children in the Carpark . The New Ronald MacDonald House is currently not meeting the needs of many country families and hasn’t for a number of months ( Manager left suddenly in December 2020) CEO was unaware . Things are under investigation. I have stayed off site @ my own cost @ a Hotel .
Why do our Kids lose there PlayGround ??!!!!
This is not being built with funds from current Paediatric Service Funds .? Kids & Families need outdoor spaces . The Old RMH & Playground, I am lead to believe are also on an Old James Hardie Site ? Asbestos disturbance for sick children inside the hospital will be massive for Carpark Size !!
