I would like to raise my concerns about the proposed extension of the BORG OBERON operations.
My family and myself live close to the current Borg site and have been exposed to dust / noise / additional traffic on poorly maintained roads over the years.
I am also concerned about particleboard and MDF being dumped at the local landfill as well as commercial quantities of boiler ash and other by products produced by BORG .
Dumped waste products have " self combusted " on a number of occasions at the local landfill site and reported to the EPA.
I am also concerned about the devaluation of properties in the close proximity of the proposed new plant as further developments / subdivisions / granny flats had been rejected for property owners in a 2km range from the current BORG operations by the Oberon Council.
