Official Caution issued to Built Pty Limited (SSD-10378) City of Newcastle LGA

On 27 September 2023, NSW Planning issued an Official Caution to Built Pty Limited (Built) for carrying out construction at  42 Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle prior to 7am, that was audible at a nearby residential premises. On 31 May 2023, noise from a truck delivering material to 42 Honeysuckle Drive site was audible at the nearest residential premises and occurred prior to 7am. Built have since recommunicated their consent obligations to key members of the Project Team and contractors.

I forcefully object to the above proposed project on several grounds

Firstly, it will be detrimental to the aesthetics and character of the neighbour hood. It will also be overshadowing multiple apartments to its rear, encroaching on our privacy, being a visible bulk!

This project will also create huge noise, dust disturbance to a huge number of nearby residents!
