Wilton Town Centre Precinct rezoning and planning controls took effect on 30 June 2023.
The Wilton Town Centre Precinct rezoning includes a major retail and commercial centre providing jobs and services, up to 1,600 new homes, land for a new public school, a central bus terminal and the protection of environmentally sensitive land.
The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment worked with Wollondilly Shire Council and State agencies to prepare the rezoning package for the Wilton Town Centre Precinct.
