If the intersection at Cadonia of the Twelve Mile Road and Goolma road is to be up graded for the wind farm, I would like to propose a sensible and safe option.
Heading West on Twelve Mile Road, just after going past the Western most house in Cadonia, the road could curve around to the North to be able to connect with the Goolma road at a tee intersection on the peak of the rise, which is on the Northern side of the bend in the Goolma Road.
This should give good visibility both ways at the intersection. There should also be merging lanes coming from both directions from the intersection on Goolma Road.

I totally support the Ungula Wind Farm development,we owe future generations our best efforts to support renewable energy .
The economic and community benefits to this region make the project very attractive and I believe all potential environmental impacts have been taken into consideration and can be managed .
Our reliance on fossil fuels is of huge concern to me and all efforts to support renewable energy is essential.

I am a local landholder and farmer. I am in full support of the proposed wind farm and believe that it will greatly benefit the local area.
The wind farm will provide opportunities in the form of local jobs and will contribute to the local economy through the flow on effects of construction.
I believe that the social and environmental impacts will be well managed. The company has been great at engaging with the community and has done a good job at making sure that all local interests have been considered in the design of the wind farm.
Additionally, both nationally and globally, we should be looking to these alternative sources of sustainable energy to limit the impacts of climate change. Wind power offers a great alternative to traditional coal and gas power plants.
In summary, I feel strongly that the proposal should be approved.

I am in full support of the proposed wind farm. I firmly believe that we must transition away from our economic addiction to fossil fuels. In order to secure a healthy and strong Australia for our current and future population we must move towards renewable energy sources, and we can no longer justify delays in this transition.

It is time for environmentally consciousness leadership. Observing our government fail to respond in a timely manner to our pressing climate emergency has slowly eroded my faith in our leadership. Please help us secure a healthy nation that we can all enjoy for generations to come, and help renew my faith in the Australian government by not standing in the way of this important transition.

I am a daughter of local landholder and farmer. I am in full support of the proposed Uungula wind farm.
I believe that the Uungula wind farm would significantly boost the local economy by providing additional jobs and ongoing employment through the development of associated infrastructure.
The company has engaged with the local community and I believe will effectively manage any ongoing social or environmental impacts.
Australia needs to be addressing climate change by adapting to alternative sources of sustainable energy and reducing the impacts of climate change and the the Uungula Wind farm provide a sustainable alternative to traditional coal and gas power plants.
I strongly support the profession of the Uungula wind farm.

I am a local land holder directly affected by this project. I am in full support of the project.
I am well aware that this project has been years in the making and full thought and consideration has gone into the planning and development of this project. For the past two to three years, the developers of this project have been involved in open and ongoing discussions with those directly affected by the project and set up an independent local Community forum in which several meetings have taken place, to allow other community members to express any concerns they may have or put further ideas forward. I believe that the social and environmental impacts will be well managed and have been well managed to date. The developers have ensured that the local interests and knowledge of the local land have been taken into account with the design of their project to best develop the project in a timely fashion but to also be very mindful of the native fauna and flora surrounding the project and those also living close by.
Not only will this project inject much needed money and funds into the Wellington local community, but it will also provide employment opportunities to a town that is in need of an economic boost. Along with these jobs, will come training and education that will only help the individual in their future employment endeavours. Areas that will be greatly influenced by this project will be hospitality and the hotel/motel chain. Tourism to the area will also increase over time with people interested in seeing the local sights, including the wind farm.
On an international and national scale, our government needs to invest in renewable energy. In doing so, we are investing in the clean futures of our children and grandchildren. Renewable energy is a way of the future and is paramount to today's environmental political agenda. The project is a great alternative to coal and gas forms of energy.
The physical design of the wind turbines themselves are aesthetically pleasing in which I have no concerns of viewing direct on or from my property.
There may be negative complaints from some local community members in relation to this project however, it is my belief that education is the key. The land holders directly affected by this project must hold the most weight in terms of their views whether to support the project or object. It is the land holders that have been educated over the past few years on the entirety of the project, working closely with the developers to ensure the project is delivered in the most practical and environmentally friendly way that it can be. I am in strong support of this project and am excited to see the impact and boost this project will have on the Wellington Local Community and its businesses.
