There is not nearly enough parking spaces in the current plans. Roadside parking in the area is already very full and there's absolutely no way that the 20 spaces in the proposal will be enough to handle three floors worth of people, especially if that includes retail and cafe. There's already people who are parking too close to driveways, which obviously is a safety risk, as it is with current levels of traffic.

Good Morning,
Whilst I do support the project I would like to comment on the likely decrease in available street parking for local residents. I have already reached out to Gosford Council asking them to consider residents parking permits as Beane street and surrounds are popular all day parking places for workers in Gosford. Coming home from work, residents often face challenges trying to find street parking, as the various apartment complexes have limited availability of onsite parking. Gosford council gave swift retort that they are not required to provide residents with parking! My Question is, with the increase in students/ uni staff parking in streets how may residents be somewhat protected. Councils statment that its not their responsibility to provide parking however like many local areas a residents parking permit may be helpful; we do pay council rates after all, and Gosford council continue to approve developments with limited parking options. It would be appreciated to be met half way, limiting visitors and non-residents to 2 hour parking times only, encouraging students to access the train and buses instead of driving into the CBD of Gosford City.
Thankyou for your consideration
