Thank you for your submission of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the above development to Fire & Rescue NSW (FRNSW) for agency review and comment.

It is understood that the EIS has been prepared by RPS Group on behalf of Bettergrow Pty Ltd (the Applicant) to address matters identified in the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs), specifically the expansion of an existing composting and nutrient recycling facility with a processing capacity of up to 200,000 tpa of organic materials at Ravensworth, NSW.

It is deemed that the proposed expansion has limited relevance and application in regard to fire and life safety, and as such FRNSW submit no comments or recommendations for consideration.

Broke Fordwich region deserves a town square focus point and the relocation of Ravensworth Homestead would offer residents and the many tourists an opportunity to visit and recount the historical significance of the region. Furthermore it would provide an economic boost and bolster community spirit.
