Ausgrid has reviewed SSD – 10399 and particular Appendix T.

Ausgrid notes that there are two distribution substations (S.78769 & S.78770) proposed to be positioned within or adjacent to the site.

As such the proponent must ensure that adequate fire segregation requirements are maintained as per Ausgrid's Network Standard 141 and any Ausgrid easements, leases and/or right of ways must be maintained at all times to ensure 24 hour access.

For further details with regard to easements and right of ways please refer to Ausgrid’s Network Standard 143.

CASA has reviewed the aviation related sections of the EIS for the State Significant Development Application SSD-10339 Prince of Wales Hospital - Addition to Approved Acute Services Building 20 August 2019 including Appendix AA (Letter from Avipro).

CASA assessed the main Acute Services Building from an obstacle perspective in November 2018, under the Airports (Protection of Airspace) Regulations 1996, at a height of 111m AHD. (Copy enclosed for information only).
It is noted that the height of the helipad near the north east corner of the Approved Acute Services Building is 101.21m AHD.
It is noted from the EIS that the height of the IASB Addition will be RL 101.2m. The EIS also advises that the OLS varies from approximately RL 85.0 to RL 95.0 across the site.

CASA has no objections to the IASB Addition and the previous CASA assessment of November 2018 for the Approved Acute Services Building could apply to the Approved Acute Services Building plus the IASB Addition. CASA concurs with Appendix AA.

CASA was unable to open Appendix D, but has sufficient information regardless.
