Being a retired transport and Logistic manager, I don't have general opposition to dangerous goods, but what does concern me is if they intend to store bulk DG products. Bulk dangerous goods are a higher risk to surrounding residential areas, than small products.
An example being the approved storage of dangerous goods at the Woolworth's on western site, being small products sold in their stores compared to bulk products.

As such, I totally appose storage of bulk dangerous goods in warehouse 7 and i would appreciate feedback on the actual type of products they intend to store

We live in Wattle Grove very close to the East precinct site. The site has consistently broken the noise restrictions they were given approval to work within. It took a large number of complaints from the Wattle Grove community for more monitoring to be put in place and changes be made to the way the site operates. The reports produced that determined there would be little impact to the residents were farcical. Walls were built on the wrong side of the site and the equipment they were using could never have stayed under the dba rating they were approved for. Allowing dangerous goods to be stored on a site so close to a residential area - where the site itself has proved to not be able to stay within regulation is very dangerous. We don't want to have to wait until someone gets sick or hurt and go through the whole complaint process again to get something done. Prevention is better than cure. This site should never have been allowed to be built so close to a residential area and there should be no dangerous good stored on site.
