Minarah College

It is pleasant to see how islamic based schools are in high demand. Therefore, supporting the new school would be a great addition to the boarder western Sydney community.

Schools are encouraged to fulfilled the population demand in this area.

The campus will have a great opportunity to provide high quality education for all families in western Sydney

The project aims to provide a custom-built school campus for education purpose for the new and upcoming neighbouring communities of the school.
It will deliver education in a very structured and disciplined manner that will be beneficial in grooming the upcoming generation that prevails within the proximity of the school premises.

I object to the proposal of building Minarah College.
Firstly, Catherine Field is a rural area. There is no place for such a large school in the area. Schools should be built in developed areas where there is a greater need for them.
The roads in Catherine Field are very poorly maintained and could not handle all the extra traffic that a new school would bring. Catherine Field is known as pothole central. There are no footpaths, kerb or gutter which would make it unsafe for children.
The hours of operation of the school is also not acceptable and uncommon to any other school. It would cause disruption to the neighbours in what is usually a quiet and peaceful area.
The roads around Catherine Field are known to flood and this would make it unacceptable location as teachers and students would not be able to access the school. Also the census figures show that there is only a small percentage of Muslims in the local area, not enough to justify a muslim school. Also my family and I would not feel safe if this school was to go ahead.

I support this project - it is a great step forward for Minarah college and also the local community

The population in the school's catchment area is forecast to grow rapidly and the proposed new school will assist in the urgent need to meet such demand. There will be ample car parking on site and easy access and exit from the site. The project will have a 60 student early learning centre that will contribute to the new government policy at extending education to Year 4 children and in the process increase women's participation in the workforce. The school plans to develop a productive relationship with the community by sharing school facilities, such as sports fields.

To whoever it may concern

I support the project as more schools are required in this growing area and as the Mulsim schools close by are at capacity. The school must be built with appropriate environmental considerations including traffic flows.

will benefit high quality learning which will support the growing demand for the skilled workforce. This new campus will be a great benefit to Catherine Fields and the broader South West Sydney region
