We are in the business from 1983 and we never had issues before 1996. After 1996 this so called Sell and Parker started the recycling facility. Due to its expansion my staff and myself having lot of issues. The constant banging metal noise and dust putting us at very high risk. I want planning department to have a through feasibility study around this area where 100s of business and residents are at greater risk. In the night my clients say there are lot of fire put out in the Tattersall road area. When we open the business premises we see a lot of debris and plume. it takes us a fair bit of time before we open for business. Also, during the day the dust and banging noises affecting my staff and my moral. We are facing this pandemic and top of that this unwanted pollution causing a big depression to my business. Customers complained that they will desert me if this continues. Customers complained when they picking up their cars that dirt hard to get rid of. This not only me there are so many mechanical shops in this area planning to desert completely and go on voluntary dissolve the business. I urge the planning department to work closely with the general residents and business to stop this expansion. Please note that amount of trucks going through Sunnyholt road and they leave nails in the roads and I see so many cars are punctured. I feel sorry for the general public. Also, the trucks makes lots of noise and traffic congestion. One of my mates have a helicopter and he had seen the amount of pollution coming from the facility is unfathomable. Considering all the above facts and figures. I believe the government will take a business decision where there will be a high amount of business closures and possibly deaths in the coming days. I strongly object to have this facility in this vicinity. If this go ahead we as a business community will take all involved to the court. We know that your staff will visit the facility to assess the situation before the planning department reject or grant the application please bear in mind when you come they will follow the safety standards and you will not be able see the full picture. Also, note that you will not here during night when they put up the fires.
I have made complaint to EPA reference no: C16183-2020

I'm residing in 81 Turner street Blacktown though it is approximately 1.5km from Sell and Parker recycling facility. Due to its expansion my kids and myself having lot of issues. The constant banging metal noise and dust putting us at very high risk. I want planning department to have a through feasibility study around this area where around 200s of businesses, schools, early day care centres and residents are at a greater risk. In the night my neighbors and myself witnessed there were lot of fire put out in the Tattersall road area. When we wake up we see a lot of debris and plume. it takes us a fair bit of time before we let our friends and relatives to visit our place. Also, during the day the dust and banging noises affecting my kids and my moral. We are facing this pandemic and top of that this unwanted pollution causing a big depression to my business. Residents are complained that they will desert me if this continues. Also, note that you will not here during night when they put up the fires. I have aspiring kids who can't sleep in the night due to the banging heavy metal noises. As a result I wonder there will be depression, anxiety and suicides will be on the rise. I know once Blacktown council fought against this facility in the court and have failed.
Due to the heavy chemical by products I couldn't grow any plants in my garden. EPA complaint Reference No: C16184. Bottom line is that if you approve the facility to go ahead then their competitor Pick and Payless will follow suit. Only two business will be operating in the whole Kings park area and the rest of the businesses will be closed down. There will be lots of unemployment, socio economic issues will surface. There are so many businesses in Bessemer street Blacktown they will too close and move to another area. Due to bad weather I couldn't get full list of peoples, businesses and childcare centres signatures. I only started to door knocking 27 to 28. Once I started to gather the evidence it was too hard to comprehend the damage what we will be facing in the near future. All the business are going through heartache with COVID19 on top of that this facility expansion. It really hurts to hear this sad news. I hope NSW planning will do all the necessary steps to stop this going. Thank you very much.

Dear DPIE person,

I refer to the application by Sell & Parker to increase their operational capacity to 600,000 tonnes per year.

I live at 4 Charles Street Blacktown 2148, with my family and we frequently hear noise from their facility and it intrudes on our ability to peacefully enjoy our home and our quality of life.

I very much OBJECT to their application unless they solve the noise problems associated with their operations.
You are welcome to contact me anytime if needed.

Best Regards
