- We support the improvements to the park but we as a baseball club haven’t had any improvements done too our fields as we have nothing too do with NRL.
- The access too our baseball fields has been upgraded Thankyou.
- They said they upgraded our car park but it isn’t too the standard of the the top carpark. We have no gutters, smooth surface or permanent parking lines. We have too constantly ask council to come re paint the lines.
- Our bottom fields flood constantly due too the creek overflowing.
- Diamond 1 in the top left hand corner floods due too the amount of water coming off the top parramatta field. There is no retaining wall or drainage in between the fields too help push the water down the drain near the road.
- While there are 2 car parks, all the parramatta staff and players park in the Baseball carpark down the bottom and on the side of the access road. This mean we don’t have enough room for our clubs players, coaches and teams too park. Hopefully when the top section of the Parramatta Centre is complete we will get our carpark back.
- There is no other toilet facilities then our baseball park ones. While we pay rent too the council for the use of Kellyville Baseball Park buildings, we have too keep them clean. Several times I have had to allow parramatta eels supporters or the public in general to use our toilets because there is no other option.
- Lastly as a not for profit small Baseball club we really appreciate the improvements to the rest of the park but we would like some improvements aswell!

Given that the Kellyville/Rouse Hill area is a growth precinct with thousands of new families over he last few years, it would be great fro the area to be recognised with its own major sporting facility.

The initiative that the local council and Parramatta RL have demonstrated in identifying this area and redeveloping Kellyville Park has been an excellent win for the young footy players and parents alike.

To Whom It May Concern,
Re: Parramatta Eels Centre of Excellence
Renegades Rugby is pleased to provide its full support to the Parramatta Eels in the development of a Centre of Excellence within the Hills Shire at Kellyville Park, Kellyville.
Having been involved in the consultation process to date, our Club has no doubt that the Centre of Excellence can deliver high performance outcomes while becoming an inspiring work environment. This presents a unique opportunity, from which the broader community, including sporting clubs, will no doubt benefit.
The Centre of Excellence as proposed will include best practice facilities to continue developing NRLW and NRL pathways, for emerging female and male rugby league players.
In addition, the facility as a sporting hub will encourage community engagement, offer shared use of the facilities, and provide education and learning opportunities that will leave a legacy for the Hills Shire community.
Renegades Rugby have been regular users of the Kellyville Park precinct since 2007, and our relationship with Parramatta Eels has proven highly effective at growing our club. The addition of this facility allows us to host events of both a sporting and social nature, which will broaden our influence in the community, as well as within our sport.
Renegades Rugby is very excited about the Parramatta Eels Centre of Excellence at Kellyville Park, and look forward to the project becoming a reality for the Hills Shire community.
Yours Sincerely,

Nick Pfitzner

The Hills Hornets Touch Football Association are in full support of the proposal.
Being a community club that boasts around 1500 members each year and provide services from grassroots (5 year olds - 65 year olds) through to representative teams that includes Australian level players, coahes and referees. The sport provides inclusive offerings with a gender equity split of almost 50%, All Abilities teams, high CALD members and also indigenous representatives.
We believe that this proposal will provide the non-contact community aspect that compliments the needs of the elite level usage that the Eels are renowned for.
Hills Hornets Touch works closely with the Parramatta Eels and are in the process of formalising an MOU that will bring both organisation closer together.
We believe that the facility will be available for the Hornets to provide first class opportunities in access, high performance, gym access, meeting and lecture areas, event hosting and camp structures.
The proposal will also provide us and other community organisations the ability to attract new audiences to the area and showcase the facility.

Several neighbors in our street
Object
KELLYVILLE , New South Wales
Message
To whom it may concern,
Back in the 12th July 2021 I emailed Urbis Engagement <[email protected]> to voice concerns about the development project of the Parramatta Eels Centre of excellence that was to be built on memorial Ave- Kellyville. In this submission I voiced concerns by two other neighbors at the time that the previously setup Tennis courts were being removed and not being replaced.
I was responded to on the 13th July 2021 as noting my email concerns was received and the working team will respond.
On the 16th July 2021 I received an email stating that my concerns have been raised with the development team and I should have a response within the coming days.
Almost a year later and no response was received.
Almost a year on and this week I received a letter in the mail advising once again of more information on the proposed site this time more details as provided which raised alarm bells with both myself and two other neighbors in our street.
The letter stated that a new 1500 seat grandstand was to be built. Upon further reading the Appendix J Traffic and Parking Report indicates that several times per year if not more which we think will more likely be the case, the site will have many more patrons than the facility can cater for.
In other words it is way under catered for when it comes to parking spaces. This under supply of sufficient parking spaces will mean two things.
1. Cars parked in what are now quiet un-congested neighborhood streets, leading to distressed locals. Possibly even illegally as parking becomes extremely limited during peak periods or events.

2. Patrons parking offsite then having to walk across the soon to be upgraded multilane Memorial Ave presenting a danger to pedestrians and vehicles alike.
When major infrastructures works like these are designed they should consider the maximum patronage capacity and then add some to ensure the site contains its own patrons and not expect local neighbors to just accept the excessive overflow congestion their lack of planning has caused.
The Tennis courts being removed and not being replaced together with the lack of onsite parking are both of great concern to myself and my local neighbors.
We can see that our quiet street will soon become a noisy neighborhood of parked cars and congestion. Being a resident here for over a decade it is very upsetting to see this change being put upon us when the decision makers are obviously not considering our needs.

Increase car parking spots on site and bring back our Tennis courts.

Soon to be annoyed neighbors and anti Parramatta Eels locals.
