If you are entertaining such a ludicrous application to collect fees from such company, I commend you.
Otherwise, it is a despicable proposal and I strongly oppose.

The proposed location of this Incinerator adjacent to high density housing is totally unacceptable.

My five grandchildren live in St Clair.

I, once again, object to this project.

I strongly object to this project!!!!
My family and I chose to live in the Nepean region because of its environment. I am in remission from to cancers and need to maintain clean living. Having this monstrosity in the area will clearly and undoubtedly change everything. I will need to uproot my family and move further away which will of course change their future. Please DO NOT allow this project to go ahead! We are proud of our country and the Nepean Cluster for always taking into consideration all factors and protecting its people - please don’t change that. Say NO to this incinerator!!!!!

Another project to be dumped on the people of western Sydney which will pollute our air impact the health of the community as well as further depress our property values.

I’m not in a position to pay expensive consultants to draft a submission, which no doubt suits Cleanaway and why they have targeted Western Sydney rather than the more well to do northern or eastern parts of Sydney.

If the incinerator is so safe then put it where the proposers live. I get the feeling that the government and Cleanaway just don’t give a toss about the quality of life and the health of people in Western Sydney. I also think the claims that the exhaust is safe need to be severely questioned and tested.

The claims made by Cleanaway about the environmental safety and health impacts of the incinerator should not be accepted on face value. Cleanaway is after all merely a business that is only concerned with making more money without regard to the lives of low and middle income families. The potential particulate pollution and smells will have a very negative impact on our lives.

Another company tried to get one of these incinerators up and running previously and were rejected. Why is an incinerator again being considered?

Please show some sense and compassion and knock this proposal on the head immediately.

I strongly oppose this project. If this goes ahead my family's health and well being will be impacted as well as the value of my property. We already have the tip close by with wafting smell and we don't want another one.

Western Sydney is the life blood of the Greater Sydney area and such a project would severely impact on the health of a large number of residents. Such projects should be placed well outside urban and semi urban areas.
But ideally incinerators are the wrong way to go both environmentally and financially. Incinerators are an old world solution that have no place in a modern world.
It's the easy way out for companies to make a quick dollar.

I object to Cleanaway's project proposal. According to the World Health Organisation and the NSW Health Organisation (https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/ambient-(outdoor)-air-quality-and-health and https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/environment/air/Pages/particulate-matter.aspx#:~:text=PM10%20(particles%20with%20a%20diameter,and%20cause%20serious%20health%20effects.) there are many health effects from exposure to particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5). Numerous studies have showed associations between exposure to particles and increased hospital admissions as well as death from heart or lung diseases. Despite extensive epidemiological research, there is currently no evidence of a threshold below which exposure to particulate matter does not cause any health effects. Health effects can occur after both short and long-term exposure to particulate matter irrespective of any guideline. It's clear from the World Health Organisation that any levels of PM10 and PM2.5 will increase the risk of acute and chronic health affects. This, together with the proposed location being in a major urban and metropolitan area of Sydney, are reason enough to reject this proposal and any future proposal of similar nature. The general health and wellbeing of the Sydney community now and into the future should be of paramount importance.

I am a full time working parent, caring for a child with severe disabilities. The environmental and air quality of this project will greatly impact the health of my disabled child, not to mention the impact it will have on other members of my household. There does not appear to be a substantiated reason for this plant to be built in this location. There is already a significant impact of air quality and smell coming from the existing SUEZ plant that we have to content with. There appears to be a blatant disrespect for the people living in Western Sydney.

This project should it proceed has the potential to harm many thousands of western Sydney residents though the release of toxins as waste material is incinerated. The suburbs of Western Sydney is not the appropriate location for such a harmful project.

Should not be allowed to go ahead
Will effect health of everything and everyone living around it.
And will drop property prices in surrounding areas.
There’s plenty of land in Australia where there is no population.
I think the cost of people’s lives and we’ll being is far greater than the cost of shipping their rubbish out to where it won’t effect people.
