I do not want this disgusting polluting furnace so close to our residential area . I already have breathing issues and this project will only make my condition worse.

I object the project due the harmful benefits it could impose to my health. I love and work in the area and already suffer from asthma. I also hold concerns for what the long term affects it could cause especially when I have my own children in the future. The science behind the negative and harmful emissions is very concerning and I am not even sure how it has even been proposed. The site is so close to a lot of homes, businesses and schools. It is a growing area and an area nsw is planning to boost as western sydney suburbs continue to expand in tourism with raging waters and the Sydney zoo. It is absurd to have this so close by to thousands of Sydney Siders. Take note from the damage it is already doing overseas

Western Sydney is polluted enough already and with more and more people being approved to live in the area we certainly do not need more. The health of particularly the elderly and the very young has got to be more important than anything else

I object to the project on environmental and health grounds.
It is unacceptable to burn waste from energy from a human health and environmental health point of view.
This project should not be approved.

An energy from waste incinerator is not welcome here. To pollute my children’s lungs and devalue my homes value. I have my elderly parents living with us and they don’t deserve or anyone doesn’t deserve toxic pathogens in the air when they open a bedroom window or set foot outside

I wish to outline my disagreement with such a facility being constructed within this area of Western Sydney. This is a community with people of all ages, and from all walks of life, who may be detrimentally impacted by any exhaust or fumes released into the environment. I myself have a young child, who does not need extra exposure to potential toxins released. I have neighbours who are elderly and suffer from health issues, and also do not need another thing to impact their health. There are also animals, both domesticated and undomesticated who call Western Sydney home, and will be at a loss due to the area for the facility and the fumes released.

This is an area of Sydney that is growing quickly, with young people looking to buy and rent properties here, which in turn helps boost the local economies. By constructing such a project, it will impact the influx of people, thereby potentially reducing our local economies, to the detriment of all.

Lastly, I am curious to understand the value of an incinerator environmentally, as compared to existing waste methods. Is it not just swapping landfill with greenhouse gases and airborne toxins? I dont believe either is great for the environment, however certainly landfill must have a smaller effect on global warming? We as a society should not be swapping one negative for another, but instead focus on reducing ournwaste, boosting our recyclable products and further ingrain that process into our society.

The impact of this proposal must have no negative affect on the environment. If it was demonstrated that it only improved air quality and the local environment with strict regulation, than it may be a good idea.

As a local residing close to the proposal I object as not enough has been done to ensure our environment is not impacted. Minchinbury is so close to this proposal and in the cooler months we have low lying fog and anything escaping from the cleanaway site will be trapped low and spread over the suburbs surrounding and may even impact the prospect reservoir. Western Sydney residents deserve better than this. The area does not deserve to be a dumping ground for so called developments like this which are not proven safe for our health and environment. This should not be allowed. Our wellbeing deserves full consideration. We have invested in our properties and do not wish to be forced to relocate at our expense and obviously incurring a loss in value.
Our children, schools and western Sydney Parklands need to be protected as too the local ecology.
Please consider us before big business.
We are the lifeblood of western Sydney.

As a resident living within the local area, projects such as this is harmful to the people living here in the area especially since it is within such a close proximity. I highly condemn this project and object to it.

I strongly object to the proposal to build an incinerator in Western Sydney. Western Sydney has a huge population and the proposed incinerator will cause many of us to be affected by the fumes. We have quite heavy fogs in the west and the smoke and fumes will hang in the damp air through out the cooler months making this area smog affected, causing the air we breathe to become even more polluted than it already is, which will have severe adverse affects on those in our community with asthma and other breathing problems. I have lived in Western Sydney for 54 years, I would like to continue to live here near to my children and grandchildren. I do not want this proposed incinerator impacting our lives now, nor into the future as my grandchildren grow up in this area. I feel the need to speak up for the future of this area and the generations to come. Please do not approve this project. I am sure a more suitable site could be found that will not impact the air breathed by so many people.

Strongly against the planned incinerator project, too close to homes, I have worked long and hard for years to purchase my first home in Minchinbury in 2018. This will affect property prices in the area.
Western Sydney does it tough as it is, we dont need another burden!

After a rival incinerator project was stopped earlier this year, the same reasons are why this one isn’t needed, wanted or worthy of government funding. The funds should be used to find alternative means that doesn’t impact residents or the environment.
