Hi Rebecca,

I am emailing you to submit my objection to the Burrendong Wind Farm Proposal.

I own and live fulltime at my property 515 Wallawaugh Road Hargraves.

I object to the whole project but specifically turbines 67, 68, 69 and 70 which back onto my property.

I am concerned about the maintenance and fire risks of the turbines having had turbines in Gulgong set fire just this year. I am also concerned about the South Korean company who will own the project and are not listening or engaging with us in any meaningful way. The company said deletion of certain turbines to those who would be affected would be possible but so far in the last 2 years not a single turbine has been successfully negotiated to be removed. This shows bad faith on their behalf and is concerning that they will be buioding in our backyard.

I am also concerned about the health affects. This has affected my mental health as I moved to Hargraves to be away from noise and EMF and associated wavelengths after suffering from a brain aneurysm. I am concerned that the turbines will affect my health and no information from Ark Energy has suggested that this is safe for me to live near.

I object to the entire project

I Vehemently Object to Burrendong Wind SSD-8950984.

Cease and Desist Renewables On Country On Farmland In Wilderness In Oceans Now. Or we lose our next Generations Farmland and our Wild Areas we will lose because Renewables are an Addition to Climate Impacts to Vital Upper Tributary Catchments of the Murray Darling Basin Food Bowl, which offers our government the ability to exist, NB.

I have a need to be asking for all departments of government, Australian, State, Local, and Mayors to Councillors included, yes yes yes, be under Investigation. Under Investigation. Is it ICAC ? I would say so. I would say so. I need an ICAC Investigation on Renewables upon a Dry Continent NB, NB, NB. Threatening All On Country you see. How ? I can tell you how myself. I can. I know you have No idea what you are doing , you see. You are Virtual Reality World. I am Real World, and Watching the Impacts Renewables are having on my Region, of Vital Upper Tributary Catchments to 4 Major River Systems.

Stop abusing 18 Nations for No Reason, none. No reason.

Cease and Desist Renewables On Country, On Farmland, In Wilderness, In Oceans, Immediately Immediately Immediately.

I Demand a Moratorium on our government, All departments, Nb, All Departments, Nb, all government departments, NB, them, who Harm and Cause Loss To the Environment they cannot Care for, cannot, and will not, and will not, not , and Why is the Question to Ask all employees of government of Australia, NSW, QLD, Victoria into Dear Tassie I must have Locked Up from whites, yes whites, aka all humans on it now, yes them, whites, and very much so in thoughts and attitudes towards the Environment I call Original Native Species species.

Get Off My Nation and Get All new Renewables Projects under Investigation for Harm and Loss To Environment.

I need you to View the Map titled Map of Flow Lines from Vic to Northern Tablelands NSW.

Look at it. These are REZ zones that will Block, I Said Block, and I Said Block, Rainfall to my area in the Northern Tablelands, a REZ zone as well, I Vehemently Protest, and I Do, and I Know why, and you Don't, and I am Needing a Royal Commission into the Hideous Future planned for the Murray Darling Basin Food Bowl, under 88 Current Cumulative Impacts that are Increasing, not Decreasing as they should be, NB, should be.

Add 48 Cumulative Impacts observed this day I watch Towers and feel Power Lines and know they Harm Rainfall, you see. Yes, Rainfall. Yes, Rainfall. Our Need. Need. We all need Rainfall, don't we, hm. Yes we do. You are Not Noticing Less Rainfall you see. You can't notice it because you don't live here on My Country or another's Country, under Threat from Renewables and 98 Cumulative Impacts Increasing worldwide I Have to Bring to Your Attention, gov.au, and DPE, DPI, DPIE, Harm and Loss Departments.

God Help us in a Dry Continent please God.

God Help us who live in a Dry Continent, and one getting Drier as our government Increase Cumulative Impacts To All On Country, that Include Internationally Protected Migratory Birds, and Eagles, who are Masters here on Earth this government have No Respect for at all. I need to know Why, you see.

I STRONGLY OBJECT TO THE BURRENDONG WIND FARM PROPOSAL

Ark Energy did not consult with us or the community before they decided on their proposed Turbine layout. This means that they blatantly did not follow the rules. In fact they added the additional turbines along the World's End Ridgeline after their initial planned layout, sneakily, without making a statement to the community about the additional turbines. Another step of blatantly not following the rules. If they had consulted with our community they would have know from the beginning that the turbines proposed on the World's End Ridgeline will impact our community greatly and they should not have been proposed in the first place, full stop. This would have saved us years of our lives that we have spent objecting this proposal. Time that we will not have back to spend with our families and young children. We are disgusted at Ark Energy's conduct; their blatant disregard for us and our community. We have not been consulted and we do not consent!!!!!

Many people in our community are only just finding out about the project! We found out from our neighbours! As a result we have had to door knock to tell our neighbours. Hours of work on the ground trying to reach remote houses. Disgusting.

At "community consultation" evenings in town, Andrew Wilson and his team appear to have no idea about the details of the project; it's like they don't understand or know their project at all. Simple questions like where the workforce will be housed? where the water will come from? Where will the waste go? they couldn't answer. When I asked Andrew Wilson and his team if they would like to live near Wind Turbines themselves, they said they wouldn't like to which i find Interesting.

The EIS Environmental Impact Statement is a joke. Are we supposed to believe this is an ethical submission?

Why has a WIND Resource Map not been included with a proposed turbine layout on top?
Horizontal Axis Wind Turbines HAWT require a constant stream direction of wind to be available. This is not what we experience at our property. The wind is not from a constant stream. We require evidence to prove that this exists on the World's End Ridgeline where 8 turbines are proposed and for the all the turbines in the Burrendong Wind Farm Proposal.
On this note why are Ark Energy proposing to use HAWT instead of Verticle Axis Wind Turbines VAWT?

Marshall Day Sound Engineers we do not trust as they were not found to be ethical in the Bad Hill Court Case.
We require an independant Noise and Vibration Report paid for by Ark Energy from a trustworthy provider of our choice so that we have a proper report.

Social Impact - Ethos Urban - Madeleine Beart. We asked Andrew Wilson many times to have opportunity to speak with the person in charge of researching the Social Impact of the proposal. Was all the research undertaken interviewing those who have agreed to have Turbines on their property only? Andrew advised us that anything we wanted to share we could send to him and he would pass it on. This is not acceptable. It was only when I attended an Ark Energy project information evening in Mudgee that I met Madeleine Beart in person and was able to exchange contact details and we then organised a call where she asked us about the social impacts. We have had to fight through this whole process to have the opportunity to be heard. This is yet another example.

Social Impact 2.3. Decommissioning.
This does not state who will decommission the turbines. It is a general paragraph only. There are no details as to who will decommission the turbines, how that will happen, and where they will go?
When we spoke to OZ Industry in early December 2023, there is no policy to recycle turbines!!! So who will be taking these monstrosities at the end of their lives? Please advise.
As far as we understand, it will be the farmers whose land on which the turbines sit who will have the job of decommissioning them. Please advise otherwise if this is not the case and if this is not the case who will be decommissioning them?
If the job of decommissioning the turbines will be the people on whose land they stand, please advise if they have been advised of this clearly in their contracts and provide evidence of this.
How will they afford to decommission each turbine when the current estimates to decommission a turbine sits between $700,000 - $1,000,000? And no where will take them? Has Ark Energy been transparent in their communication with the turbine hosts?
This will create further rift in our communities if our neighbours are unable to remove and recycle the turbines when they come to the end of their lives in 15-25 years (as per studies) due to the incredible expense, not having access to equipment to remove them, not havig access to a site that will take them.
Our neighbours will have orphan assets and the turbines will potentially be left where they are placed, they will lay there for hundreds of years creating a waste land of this currently beautiful environment. Their toxic composition including Bispenol A a highly toxic synthetic compound used in the epoxy resins of turbine blades, amongst other things will leach into our land and waterways.

The following quote is by Dr Adi Paterson, interviewed on Sky News on 19/12/23.
“The objective of AEMO in their business plan is 100% penetration of intermittent renewables…the short-term strategic goal of the CEO of AEMO is not the cost of electricity, it is not the reliability of the grid.
This is an organisation that has bolted itself onto an impossible mission that does not obey the laws of physics and doesn’t obey the principles of engineering.
With my battery background I am at a loss to understand how we will get more than minutes to hours ever out of batteries.
Australia is already the most complex machine in the southern hemisphere, it’s got 10,000 km of grid, we are going to double it’s size but reduce the number of electrons that each pole and wire carries. This is a recipe for disaster.
The quality of electrons that a 50 HZ signal when it becomes distorted by too much wind and solar, it damages precision equipment. You cannot manufacture for instance in South Australia, jobs have been lost because precision manufacturing in the place we were intending to build our submarines cannot be maintained with the quality of electrons in South Australia.
We’ve got more than just a short term problem, we’ve got a systemic planning problem and a structure that reinforces the egos of people who have a goal to do something with renewables as opposed to a goal of providing clean reliable always on low-cost electrons to the people of Australia.”

The statements above from an expert are the one of the main reasons I object to the Burrendong Wind Farm. That is, the current path of AEMO and governments will lead to catastrophic outcomes for Australians.
In addition, the devastating environmental damage and the transformation of the beautiful natural landscapes of Burrendong into an industrial nightmare must not be allowed to happen.

I object strongly to this project on the unassailable solid engineering based ground that solar and wind generation cannot under any circumstances provide steady reliable power to a power grid. The inherent capacity factor averages around 30% and there is no known or potential generation technology anywhere in the world that can provide adequate fill-in generation for solar and wind systems, except coal, gas or nuclear based systems. Accordingly these system should not be built at huge expense to the public purse followed by vast ecological destruction during building and subsequently when these systems fail and hardware has to be disposed of.

Secondly I object strongly to these systems based upon the fact that they rely on mining by child slave labour in under-developed countries.
Australia should NOT support such reprehensible actions.

I Object to Burrendong Wind Electricity Generating Works - SSD-8950984, as it is a total waste of public money - for unethical, toxic rubbish that is part of a very contaminating, unhealthy & energy depriving Solar/Wind Nightmare that is extremely dangerous & damaging to Australia!
It is essential that Australia prioritises reliable, affordable Australian power instead of this pathetic, insecure & outrageously costly, environmentally destructive - up to 70 x Wind Turbine plan.

We often stay at 167 Rockford Lane, Yarrabin & absolutely adore everything about it from the community spirit to the stunning landscape, fresh country air, incredible stars & freedom in general.
We love being connected to nature & especially love the fact that our phones don’t work there (safe from the wrath of EMF).
We sit at the sunset bar at the highest point of the property & can see out to Burrendong Dam.

Just the thought of having these gross massive unsafe turbines along the beautiful World’s End Ridgeline is heartbreaking!
It would destroy not only the environment & wildlife but our health. How could we even sleep with towering turbines along with the constant lights, vibrations & EMF.
It would be too dangerous to be here full stop!

Even someone that has done the smallest amount of research in to this so called ‘green energy’ knows that it take a lot more of the earths minerals, slave labour & so on to produce these things,
not to mention what happens once they are deemed useless & lay on the ground to leach in to our earth & water for future generations to have to endure. This overseas company couldn’t care less
about local Australian’s & our stunning bushland that we are so blessed to have. Property value will take a massive nosedive & be worth next to nothing due to the carnage of the landscape.
Who in their right mind wants to see over 600 hectares of bushland & wildlife bulldozed in to oblivion!? This includes our incredible koala’s, birds, wedge tail eagles, bats & more!

The thought of this is too much to bear.

I beg you to reconsider this unbelievable proposal.

Thankyou for your time.

I would like to register my objection to the proposed Burrendong Wind Farm. This project is an ecological, economic, food security, and national security disaster. There are far better alternatives to fueling electricity generation such as the existing coal powered system and nuclear.
