This is just a general submission on Clean Renewable Energy.
I am fully in support of Renewable Energy in NSW and want to see the current Government turn around its lethargic and hindering changes that are planned for developments such as Wind Farms in this State.
It is high time that the Government recognised the Science behind Climate Change and that NSW power consumers' cannot depend on fossil fuels any longer.
Wind Farm developments that are taken by Nations' and by Governments' that recognise fact and act in the "National Interest" despite a financial benefit to certain other industry sectors may decline as a result of that new technology.
The NSW planning process needs to have due regard to the experience of other Nations' such as Germany, Spain and Denmark where the density of Wind Turbines is vastly higher than it ever will be in Australia - already.
There is no mention of Health problems and their is wide community support right around the projects as the machines (Wind Turbines) are accepted as part of the landscape, generating Clean Electricity from a Renewable source.
Australia has yet to reach anything near this level of acceptance, whilst many still want to subject the Health of the population to the side effects of burning Coal and Coal Seam Gas. There is clear and wide spread evidence of the risks of burning fossil fuels and I want the planning approval of Wind Farms in NSW to have full regard to the consequences of denying Wind Farm construction.
Over time as the number of Wind Farms in this State increases, the environmental benefits appear, then the outrageous hysteria created by the misinformation from organisations such as the Waubra Foundation will disappear.
Disclaimer; I will be able to see most, if not all of the Bodangora Wind Farm Turbines from my property, I welcome them and the environmental benefit provided for future generations' of Australians' therefore the project should proceed post-haste.
