I object to development SSD-39005127 ALTERATION AND ADDITION TO MERIDEN SENIOR SCHOOL due to the negative impact this will have on Strathfield LGA open space. Meriden school students use publicly funded open space run by Strathfield council with minimal compensation to ratepaying residents. Meriden senior school also contains open space and facilities that would benefit local residents of the Strathfield area and would create a sense of community. The application states that Meriden School will not share its facilities with the local community, unless they reverse this and share access to the local community in the way that the community allows school students to use its public areas I will not support this development.
