For 12 years I have worked for the organisation and anticipate working for much longer with the approval of this extension. Cleary Bros is well known in our community as a place to find stable, ongoing employment and for its contribution to groups and activities across the local area. The quarry plays a big part in the life of our town and the extension being approved will secure that position for a long time to come.

I've worked for the applicant for coming up to nine years and can see the approval of the extension will ensure that my employment continues for much longer. The quarry is central to our community, not just for the jobs it provides locals like myself, but also for the support our workforce gives to small and medium businesses of our area. If our site was to stop operations, there would be a significant impact upon more than just our workforce. As a result, the extension should be approved as an investment in the future of our town. Our organisation is also well known for supporting and being involved in community activities like local sport and these benefits could be at risk if there are any changes to the quarry's operations.

As an employee of the last five years within the quarry business, I am well placed to see the value of the operations in terms of my own employment and the opportunities which can be extended to others looking for work. Our business is a medium sized organisation which has provided jobs for people in our region for a very long time and has worked hard to support our community. If this extension is approved, the business will obviously be able to continue to play this role which will be vital to the next generations of residents and workers from our area.

I have a total of 15 years experience as an employee of Cleary Bros over two separate periods and as a result am very familiar with the importance of the quarry to our business. The extension will enable the company to continue the employment not only of everyone who works at our site, but also people working for those businesses related to the quarry.

Cleary Bros has been my employer for 10 years. I began working here straight after school and was grateful to be able to find a meaningful job in my local area. The quarry does a lot for my community in terms of providing work, producing the materials on which our area has been built, and offering young people like me the chance to build a future in our own area. The extension should be approved so that our company can keep making this contribution to the Illawarra.

I have worked for Cleary Bros for the past 22 years and understand the central role the quarry plays not just in our business, but also for extending job opportunities to the local community. I have found the organisation a great company to work for and one which is diligent to its responsibilities in operating the site. Our presence at Albion Park means that as well as those of us who work here, many small and medium businesses can be supported from those who supply us services through to the local lunch shop. An approval of this extension will see this continue along with the benefits enjoyed by both our workforce and local residents.

I've been working for the organisation since I left school 16 years ago and believe they make a big contribution to our area. This is in terms of jobs for the people of our community and region, and the materials which they supply to local builders and construction companies. Approval of the extension will ensure the company can continue playing this role for many years to come.

As an employee of the company of 14 years, I understand the quarry's very important role in ensuring the ongoing viability of our business and my employment. Our quarry contributes to the ongoing growth of the whole South Coast and so the continuation of operations at the site is essential to the whole community, not just those of us who work here.

I am currently employed by the company and believe the approval of this application will contribute greatly to the continued provision of employment in the region, as well as the ongoing supply of materials to building and construction around the South Coast. I have worked in the industry for around 40 years and appreciate the role that operating quarries have in driving regional economies through supply and employment. I am also providing my support in recognition of my employer which has supported me for the majority of my career in this industry.

I am an employee of the company for the last 10 years. The quarry is the central component of our business and all of its activities and so an approval for its extension is essential for our continuation and, as a result, my ongoing employment. This is also true for my colleagues not only in our organisation, but those who work for our suppliers, with our customers and many other businesses which are supported by our workforce.

I have been employed by the organisation for a combined total of 39 years. I believe this extension should be approved because it would allow continuation of an operation which has supported me, my family, my colleagues and our neighbours across several generations. The quarry is an important part of our community not just through the materials it supplies for the building of our region, but also socially by way of the jobs it has supported and the input the business has made into the community as a result. I strongly believe this is a tradition which will be continued throughout the next chapter of the site's life and I think that it is only right that the next generation of quarry employees and wider residents should be able to gain from the site in the same way that I have over my career. The area in which the quarry is sited is rich in hard rock resources as is evidenced by the multiple operations sited in and around our company's site. The key difference between our business and others, however, is that our company is independently owned and based wholly within our local region, meaning the income derived from our operations is returned to the local community via wages, supplier spend, and other social investments.

I have worked for the proponent for eight years and support the approval of this extension because I can see the jobs it will provide will assist with the amount of new people who are moving into the area. In mentioning these new people, I believe a key advantage of the proposal is that it has been designed in a way that it will have minimal impact on the new housing areas surrounding the site, allowing work to continue in harmony with those living and working around it.

I would like to give Cleary Bros my full support towards the application for stage 7 of Albion Park Quarry. I have been an employee of the company for more than a decade now and they are fantastic and brilliant at what they do. They have accomplished a lot with huge achievements and i am so proud to be a part of it. They should definitely be successful in this without hesitation as it secures a lot of jobs and they are a great family business. Cleary Bros would be a game-changer for this project. I am truly impressed with how they have managed to meet every goal set before them. Cleary Bros consistency is one of their biggest strengths. I believe Cleary Bros will do a great job with anything they set their mind to.

As an employee of 28 years, I understand and appreciate the worth of the quarry not just to my employer, but also to my personal life and that of my family. Because of the continued operation of the site, my employment has been sustained over the long term with the consequent effect that I've been able to achieve most of the goals we all share in life. For example, the income I have derived from my job has allowed me to purchase a home, cars and raise my family. Without the quarry being a part of the business, this would have all been placed at potential risk. Similarly, many of my colleagues can state these thoughts as the length of tenure with the company tends to be quite long. Given the benefit I and my colleagues have gained through the quarry's operations as a result, I strongly support an approval for this proposal as a major step toward securing the same benefits for the current and future generations of workers.

I have worked for the company for 19 years and during that time have seen the great value the quarry holds not just to our workplace, but to many other small and medium businesses across our region. It's important that the quarry be able to continue as a result of this economic contribution and also for the many jobs which the site supports, both in our business and those with which we work.

I have been employed by the company for 23 years and recognise the quarry's role in continuing the work of our business and my job. The quarry is very important to regional growth and development as it supplies the materials which keep our community going. I think it is important that the job opportunities both at the site and across our region are supported through approving this application both for current residents and the generations that will follow.

I am currently employed by the proponent and have been for 15 years. I support the proposal because I believe it's good for employment in our area, not just for the company but also the many local businesses who act as suppliers or who support our company, for example the local coffee and takeaway shops.
