Undertaking Engagement Guidelines

The Undertaking Engagement Guidelines for State Significant Projects set the requirements for all State significant projects.

The Undertaking Engagement Guidelines for State Significant Projects set the requirements for upfront and ongoing engagement for all State significant projects. The guideline ensures engagement is meaningful, tailored to the needs of relevant stakeholders, and supports a fair and transparent assessment and is consistent with the department’s community participation objectives.

It provides guidance to proponents on:
⦁    planning their approach to engagement
⦁    undertaking engagement to inform the development of the proposal and contribute to better planning outcomes
⦁    reporting back and demonstrating how engagement has shaped the project.
