Lowes Creek Maryland is a new precinct planned for Sydney’s South West Growth Area.
The Lowes Creek Maryland Precinct was rezoned on 16 July 2021, under State Environmental Planning Policy (Sydney Region Growth Centres) 2006.
The Department of Planning and Environment, in collaboration with Camden Council, prepared a precinct plan for Lowes Creek Maryland. This plan will guide the precinct’s creation from the ground up, providing high quality open space, significant Aboriginal Cultural heritage and European heritage protections, and a place for future communities to thrive.
The draft Lowes Creek Maryland Precinct Plan was on exhibition from 28 September to 9 November 2018.
