A Special Infrastructure Contribution (SIC) will help fund new and upgraded infrastructure to support the delivery of the Frenchs Forest Place Strategy. The SIC was finalised on 23 December 2021.
The SIC provides for developer contributions to be collected from new residential development within the Frenchs Forest Special Contributions Area (SCA). The SIC will contribute up to $37.3 million towards the cost of infrastructure including:
- Education
- Roads
- Public transport
- Active transport and green links
The draft SIC was on exhibition from 23 July to 3 September 2021.
