DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING INDUSTRY AND ENVIRONMENT

Council is seeking community feedback on the revised St Leonards South Draft Section 7.11 Contributions Plan.

The Draft Plan has been amended to incorporate previous Council resolutions, legislative changes and finalisation of the St Leonards South Planning Proposal. The revised plan includes:-
- Increased contribution rates, due to decreased projections from the number of dwellings (from 2,400 to 1,974);
- The proposed partial road closure of Canberra Avenue;
- Pedestrian/cyclist works including shared use pathways and footpaths; and
- An ability to adjust rates set out in the plan to reflect quarterly movements in the value of land acquisition and works.
