The Department has worked with Parramatta City Council to prepare a Land Use and Infrastructure Strategy for the Camellia Precinct, which will help to revitalize the area and make it a great place to work and live. The strategy outlines: - opportunities for a new town centre with new homes, jobs, shops, cafes, restaurants and entertainment that are close to transport connections; - job opportunities for people living in the area; and - the type of infrastructure and services required to meet the future needs of the new community. The Strategy responds to and builds upon Council’s 2014 Discussion Paper on Camellia and outlines a planning vision for the precinct for the next 20 years. Community Consultation Landowner and community input is an important part of the planning process and we want to hear your feedback.
