Wilton 2040 – A Plan for the Wilton Growth Area


We are planning for a new town of around 15,000 homes at Wilton. Wilton 2040 – A Plan for the Wilton Growth Area (Wilton 2040) will guide the growth of this new community over the next 20 years. New and upgraded infrastructure will support the growing community, and residents will have access to jobs, schools, shops and other essential services. Wilton 2040 also identifies sensitive environmental areas that will be protected as the community grows.

Wilton 2040 was previously known as the Wilton Interim Land Use and Infrastructure Implementation Plan. Following consideration of submissions, Wilton 2040 was adopted in September 2018.
