Barangaroo Concept Plan (Mod 9)

Modification to the approved Concept Plan to increase maximum building heights and floorspace and revise block layouts within Barangaroo Central (Block 5,6 & 7).

Amendments have been made to the originally exhibited proposal in the Response to Submissions including:

  1. reducing the total increase in GFA from 144,355sq.m to 104,000sq.m (- 40,355sq.m)
  2. increasing the maximum residential GFA from 28,000 sqm to 75,000 sqm
  3. revising the alignment of the proposed building envelopes to Hickson Park
  4. modifying the road network to retain Barangaroo Avenue as a one-way shared street and deletion of Barton Street as a permanent two-way street
  5. providing a new north/south laneway open to the sky and amend two east/west pedestrian links
  6. amendments to the Design Guidelines to reflect the above changes
  7. amendments to the Precincts - Eastern Harbour City SEPP to support the above changes.
